Defend Network
Join the Defend Network.
The Defend Network is being developed to connect people affected by digital harm with organizations and professionals the Foundation verifies for specific services. If your organization or practice is interested in taking part, we invite you to submit your interest now.
Organizations take part in one or more of four ways, described below. Start by telling us about your organization or practice.
What to expect
Submitting interest doesn't create a Partner account, a listing or Partner status, and doesn't guarantee an invitation.
The Foundation reviews every submission. Qualified organizations may be invited to continue.
Invited organizations complete a separate, secure onboarding process and the Foundation's trust verification before activation. Verified status covers only the services that were verified.
Please don't include victim, client, case, or sensitive personal information in your submission.
Four ways to take part
Organizations join the Defend Network for different reasons. See which may fit yours.
Help People
Provide verified human help to people affected by cybercrime.
May fit if: Your organization or practice helps people directly, for example with identity theft, fraud, legal questions or emotional support.
Once verified, Partners are listed only for the services the Foundation verified.
Execute Remediation
Help Defend carry out remediation a person has explicitly authorized.
May fit if: Your organization can complete a specific remediation task, such as removing a person's exposed personal information.
You act only on requests a person authorized, and only within what the Foundation approves.
Connect Technology
Connect your systems or protocols to Defend.
May fit if: Your platform or service can exchange requests with Defend, for example through the Remediation Network Protocol (RNP).
Connecting never grants authority by itself. The Foundation approves each capability.
Contribute Intelligence
Contribute governed data, evidence or research.
May fit if: Your organization holds data, evidence or research about cybercrime and the harm it causes.
The Foundation reviews each request, and the rights to each source, separately.
How choosing works
- You can take part in more than one way, and add another later.
- You choose after the Foundation invites you. The form starts with your organization.
- No technical knowledge is needed to start.
- The Foundation reviews every request. Choosing a way to take part doesn't create a listing, verification or authority.
